In your own web.

Spiders never get caught in their own web. They spin it up intentionally. Every thread is there for a reason.

Humans do.

A child left on her own creates stories. Sometimes funny stories. Sometimes not so funny.

And stories compound. They get entangled. And we get entangled in them.

Soon there might be more web than light. Soon we might not be able to see which thread is ours and which is created by someone else.

How do we break the web? How do we see light again?

We can start by observing the threads, their texture, their nature, how they are making us feel, without trying to change anything. With love and kindness and attention.

And as we do that, the web loosens. The part of us that's feeding the thread stops adding more. We can breathe. Slowly. One breath at a time.

And then there is light. There is love. There is kindness. There is you.

Your heart is beating for you. The sun is shining for you.

Light can enter now.

Love can enter now.
