The cost of truth.

If you say this, you will get in. Just go and say this.

But... that's not the truth.

How does that matter? Just do what I say.

There's a cost to being true to yourself. The system would fight back. The culture would fight back.

And there will always be the temptation to make an exception. One small exception. Here and there.

But this is where it breaks. This is where we are left neither here nor there.

The cost of truth is not a cost. These are seeds that we are planting towards becoming who we want to be.

When you skip an unhealthy meal and go to the gym instead, it seems like a cost. But over time, you start seeing a completely different picture.
