Trains in Switzerland run on time. Rather, almost everything there runs on time.

This is weird to visualise, coming from India, where everything runs late all the time.

I saw this video on YouTube that shows the system that makes the impossible possible in Switzerland.

We might think it's a complicated time tracking thing or some technological marvel.

But it's so simple. They time everything to the hour and the half an hour. Everything is timed in these discrete 30-minute intervals.

And so, the system has an underlying rhythm to align to. Nothing is random. There is no train leaving at 11.37 am. There is nothing to manage.

We all have the system in front of us. To be more intentional with time.
