Our brain likes going into overdrive with the "what should be". There's always something wrong with the way things are and if we can just force them into being the way we want them to be, everything will be okay.
But that's fiction. One, we don't have the agency to change everything. Thankfully. Because even if we did, our idea of "what should be" might not be the best for the world and also for us.
What we can start with is the "what is". Accepting things as they are. Seeing what is, without letting it be affected by the "what should be".
Surprisingly, the more we learn to accept "what is", the more agency we get to create the conditions to change it.
