Where does this go?

The brain compartmentalises. When we give it evidence, it asks where to put it. If we have a folder for it, it goes there. If not, it goes in miscellaneous.

If you have a folder, "bad things happen to me", you will accumulate the evidence there, the folder will get thick, and the belief will keep becoming strong.

If something good happens to you, you will not have a place to keep it. There's no folder. So, it goes to Miscellaneous. And you still have no evidence that good things do happen for you.

The hard work is to create the folders we want and start ignoring the ones that don't serve us well.
