Starting afresh.

A fresh start brings in a breeze of energy. Whether it's moving to a new city or the beginning of a new friendship or relationship or starting a new project, a fresh start feels blissful and exciting at the same time. A blank page, a blank canvas, all feel like an invitation to possibility.

Why don't we do this more frequently then?

Because to start fresh, we need to end something else. We need to move on from things that are past due. We need to let go.

Not only of projects, relationships or places, but every day, we get this chance of letting go of the day. Every evening brings that opportunity. Of winding down, relaxing, finding a few hours to slowly let go. So that, we can start afresh tomorrow.

We are moving into the last six weeks of the year. And once again, we have a chance. We can try to juice these remaining weeks for what its worth. Or we can start letting go of the year. Start closing chapters. So that we can start fresh ones in January.

It seems like an experiment worth trying. What do you think?
