Aligning the team.
The first thing to understand and realise is that everyone wants what's best for the whole. If that's not true, we are doomed to begin with.
As Richard Schwartz teaches us in his book, there are "No bad parts".
But even if it's true, it takes hard work to get the team aligned. To learn the dynamics between different players and understand the conflict areas.
It takes patience, and a lot of listening.
It's easier to hold a town hall and tell everyone to align. But that almost always never works.
