Asking what's true.
There are times when the voice inside our heads becomes critical. It points out to tasks not done yet, projects not completed, ideas not acted upon.
But it doesn't stop there. The thoughts spiral and soon get into imaginative territory comparing the current situation with an ideal one.
What can help is to ask what's true?
How are you feeling right now? Are you healthy or sick? Have you eaten enough? Have you had enough water? Have you slept?
We can then determine what we need to get to get back to integrity, structural integrity. What will help us show up as our best self.
It's tempting to want to live a life without a boss. But that requires us to become our own boss. We can choose what kind of boss we want to be.
