Strategy work.
It's tempting to just jump into the next thing - We will figure it out once we get there.
Sometimes, it might be helpful.
But mostly it's not. We become so busy trying to win a battle that we don't even consider what would happen once we win it. Or, god forbid, if we lose.
This kind of thinking might be considered pessimistic or demotivating, but this allows us to see the traps before we fall into them.
Being a strategic thinker is not just about making plans and executing them. It's about seeing time and figuring out what we will do after.
