If your cat behaved the way you expected, you would be surprised. You expect it to do things its own way. You learn how it acts, you try different stuff, you make space for her to connect with you.

The culture forces us to make choices that push us to one end of the spectrum. As technology catches up, being a machine isn't going to be much helpful.
