Where are you at?
If I ask you about your phone, it would be easier to tell. "I am at 68%" or "I am running low, it's about to switch off."
But what about you? Your brain, your body, your mind?
The body allows us to push it despite where we might be at. The left hemisphere can always find more things to do, more to accomplish, more to stress about.
The mere awareness of where we are can help us choose better. Are you at 10? Or at 1? 4? Or 7?
Certain tasks and decisions ask more of you, need more bandwidth. The awareness of where we are at can allow us to know that it might not be the time to do them. It might be time to just let go and relax. Find something that soothes you.
This is the balance we play with. There's no icon at the top right corner that can tell us where we are at. We have to learn to figure it out ourselves.
